Unhappy Help!

Alright, I'm probably the most auto-illiterate people on this planet...but just here me out and any help would be definetely appreciated.

When I start my car (for the first time this morning it wouldn't until I floored it)...and I put it into Reverse, it bucks and then stalls and all my dash lights come on. After about 5 or so trys I can back up and then when I put it in Drive it will do the same thing. When I get that to work...if I have to stop for any reason...it starts to buck and then it stalls. I was thinking fuel pump?...but maybe it's because I'm an optimist and don't want to point my finger at the tranny...anyway...this problem is so annoying...and not to mention embarrassing ...so please....HELP

Do you let it warm up first? When mine is cold, it likes to provide power in a sort of "sine-wave" fashion. Never stalled before, but feels like it might sometime. Try letting it warm up a little, or give it a SLIGHT amount of gas while putting in gear. Temporary Solution.

check to make sure that your mass air flow sensor plug is securly seated in the sensor. if unplugged the car will not run for mroe then a second without gas, and things have a tendency to do REALLY WEIRD things when they may be plugged half in or inaccurlty

Another culpret is the Engine Temperature Sensor. Mine had a hard time starting if it was cold. When it did start it had no high-idle and would stall if it put it in gear. The car would actually jump when you put it in gear (like dropping the clutch on a manual tranny)
