Brake question
Hey everyone. I just took a look at my rear brakes to find that I had a lot of pad left. The caliper didnt shoot out like it normally did but when i press the brake pedal it came out.
The front pads are in need of replacement though since they were down to almost nothing. Is it normal for the front pads to wear before the rear?

Yes, the front bads will wear 2-3 times faster than the rear.
Hopefully other who have kept track can tell you exactly what the ratio is. good rule, do the fronts twice and the rears once. for each cycle. And Torque the wheel bolts back on to the same spec all around the wheel.

I see... thanks. Now I have rear pads set aside for next time cuz there's still a lot of pad left.
what are the torque specs?

Let me see if I can find them....
I think someone (Beav?) said that it might be that you have over torqued your lug nuts... should be around 70-80 ftlbs.... 75 being a good number to set.
