Thumbs up Re: UK Car?

Definately a JDM, all UK cars had a sunroof, and you can see the electric folding mirror switch on the dash.

Re: UK Car?

I live in that town so going to have a look at it. Is there anything special about having a JDM that means I 'need' to own it?

If it's a Version L with AWD steering, that's pretty special...
However, with no sunroof, I *believe* that eliminates it from being a Version L

Re: UK Car?

Wonder if this is my old car? (Hail damage)

If it is my old car, you will find it is 4ws, the fuse panel cover in the engine bay is not in Japanese and the headlights will have been changed to standard LHD ones.

The VIN # was CXD-2119. Let me know what you find.

Re: UK Car?

I have a 4WS JDM and it has the audio controls on the steering wheel and an ioniser rocker switch next to the trans shift which this one doesn't so might not be JDM L.
Be interested to know either way though.

Re: UK Car?

Not all JDMs have the rear window ioniser/fan blower it was rather an expensive addition, i was lucky to get a complete one for NZ$100.

( I also have another complete one as a spare - sorry not interested in selling it yet!!)

Re: UK Car?

Leather seats, leather shift handle and leather e-brake handle mean that it is a JDM Version L with 4WS.

Sunroof was optional (not popular) on Version L and Version E models. Audio controls on the steering wheel were standard on both models but could be substituted for the airbag wheel (an even less popular option and no audio controls).

The rear fan/ionizer was a dealer installed option on both models but was more common on Version L models as dealers installed it for 'free' to make a sale on an already expensive (for the Japanese market) car .

Re: UK Car?

Tried contacting the seller but no reply. The ad is 2 months old so it could be gone or off the road for winter.
