Crank Case OIl Separator

Is there an oil separator on the outlet from the valve covers? This connects to the hose that leads back to the PCV.
Has anyone taken it apart? Do these clog up?

Thanks

Significant Technical Input
Usually they don't clog, but if you really want to check it, disconnect it and blow through it. Oh, and you might want to wipe the end of the tube off first.
