Yeah, that does sound obsessive. Nothing wrong with that tho. My girlfriend and I are the same way. I'll be having a nice conversation with her and someone will give me a look or just stare at a stop light. Suddenly the wole conversation turns into the SVX. What's cool is that she doesn't mind. She just says, huhhhhhh, you and your SVX, lets go get a pizza As far as me being obsessive, if you've been keeping up with the threads, you know that I am going to put a 4x6 poster of a black one like mine up on my wall next to my bed so I can sleep with the sacred SVX watching over me to see that all my dream races are won. Obsessive.......nahh

Of course we're obsessed....

but it's a healthy obsession, although usually costly.
I think most of my friends would like me to get another hobby to talk about instead of always blabbing about my car.
But hey! When you find something this great and then find a "family" like this is, shouldn't obsession be a little bit expected?

I would like to nominate this as "Quote of the Month!" Couldn't've said it better myself.

*Kelli stands up*

MY NAME IS KELLI AND I AM A SVXAHOLIC.

lemme see, well um........i am kinda behind on my homework because i am always on this site reading....

my mother pointed out to me that i spend more time talking about my car than anything else.

my friends make fun of me cuz i will not allow my car to leave the driveway with bird presents on the roof.

anything about cars come up.....well...you guys know that feeling

i see a ricer and i am stuck in my boyfriend's explorer and i look over at him and say--Damn i wish i had my SVX--(he takes most of them...(nice engine work) but i would eat them for lunch)...guys really hate it when a girl shows them up.

i stopped in the middle of the night cuz i saw a svx at the local 7-11. i went in there and asked who it belonged to (i won't do that again) you all know why.

i will pull into a stranger's driveway...park my pearlie next to his and talk about it for an hour, knowing that i am late going somewhere---John, we really had them looking that day!

my boyfriend asked me to explain how much i love him....and i said "Honey, i love you so much....i even love you more than my car." (he understood after that)

Kelli (shaking from withdrawl)

I've used that one before. It seems to work very nicely.

I saw a black SVX today while I was at lunch. I waved, but she had tunnel vision (or thought I was crazy).
I don't like people who think this is just a car, a way to get from place to place.
They're not-nice people, and absolutely no fun.

This isn't a car, it's a lifestyle.

Red face Obsessed? I think NOT

It seems quite a few people in here truly are obsessed with their SVX's.

I, on the other hand, have a LIFE. Why, as I sit here typing away, I'm looking out the window at my Red 97 LSi...I had to drive it in the rain today! I didn't plan on it see, but it was like this: it was sunny when I drove it to work, but it rained as I was driving it home...

Anyway, as I was saying, I actually have a life to live. ...what are those kids doing out there? If they come within ten feet of my car...hey...driveways are PRIVATE PROPERTY!!! I knew there was a reason why I didn't have kids...

Anyway, where were we...oh yeah...SVX's! Yeah, I'm gonna drive mine to the beach right now with my wife and watch the sunset. Well, she thinks its to watch the sunset. Me? I just wanna drive the SVX (it stopped raining about an hour ago!)

Obsessed? I think NOT.

I have said that so many times to my girlfriend. She always asks me to compare her to something really nice and valuable. I always compare her to my SVX, and tell her she is better. and whenever I say that, she goes like, "I can't belive you compared me to your car." She shakes her head off and then she understands. Oh well, womens, what can we do guys.

By the way kelli, how are your neons on your SVX now??
