MySpace is up

I set up a Myspace page for this shop too... This way people can peek their heads in and check out what is happening every once and a while.... It is still a work in progress but I will get it eventually

Myspace- Speed Shop

It's nice to see that there's someone who does all this work on svxi. I plan on doing a 6mt swap in the next year or 2.

Hey Tom,

I guess you will be seeing me sometime in 2007. Currently finishing up the semester at school and then will be working up until mid January to save up for this, so perhaps second week of January is my current goal for this. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is how I am going to get my car over to Philly or anywhere really.. I was thinking about getting one of those Uhaul trucks and attaching that thing for the car to it... Just need to find something cheap, I think all the tow trucks charge some insane amount of money like... $5.00 per mile or something. Have any ideas?

Sov1et, the best thing to do would be get the Uhaul truck.. If you have made arraingement with "old Tom" I would suggest following up with that... I am still moving a lot of stuff into the garage and dealing with my buddy's car right now so I haven't had a lot of time for the kits but I have all of your pieces and they are waiting to be finished...

Thanks for the compliments guys and Ricochet... I am gonna try and hook up with the tranny guy this weekend and test out the trans

I have two tranny x members and was wondering if we could work out a deal. I need one x member for a '03 WRX tranny. I read somewher that you needed some so I didn't know if you would entertain a trade of both of my cross members for one modified cross member.

I do have core charges for all SVX parts. For the following SVX parts I can give you credit

Stock X-member
Stock torque bar
Stock pedal box (no longer including gas pedals)
Stock Brake boosters(might not need these anymore)

all of these are worth $100 credit combined... I will give $50 credit if you want to send me 2 X-members and torque bars. Meaning, $50 for the first set will come out of the Cores from the one I will make you... And $50 for the second set. I have been trying to steer away from selling incomplete kits as well... So the more core parts you have, the more credit you will recieve

I really only need the x member. I think I have the pedals and other items taken care of. How much for just the x member if I send you the 2 xmembers that I have?

Well someone had asked me before... I told him $500. If you send me 2 X-members and torque bars it will come to $450

Tom, Great you're doing this stuff for the SVX.

Can you tell me a bit more about the Group N motor mounts?

Can you tell me what is included in the MT install kit and how much work is required if I install it myself?

Thanks!
