Help logging in

This is Don, SVXphile. Larry kindly allowed me to use his name and password to log on. I have been trying to contact admin to help me get back on the network with no luck. I haven't been on for some time, and have forgotten my password. If someone can help, please email me at either: deaddi@gmail.com or

Tom...Larry is alive and well and sends me an email regularly. He recently kindly tried to organize a mini-meet at my house to get Super-Ru back on the road, but I had to decline with a heavy heart. The time has come to sell the car, and I'm trying to get back onto the network to offer it to someone who can give it a good home.

It was probably addressed to Larry, since I am entering under his name.
Anyway, whoever tried to send either of us a personal message, try sending it to our email addresses. Larry said he hadn't logged on for awhile. It flashed by so fast, I had a hard time seeing it, but I think I saw "Stevesby".

ANYWAY, SuperRu is a black '92 with about 160k miles and needs some care and a loving home. It needs a rear wheel bearing replaced (I have one in a box), it needs the fixed glass on the drivers door replaced (I have a spare door with the glass that just needs to be removed) where a tree limb hit the roof and knocked the glass out (small dent on roof) and the brakes have failed even though there doesn't seem to be any leakage below the car and the master cylinder is still full (air in the line?). The car needs a new paint job too. It will have to be trailered away due to the brake problem and missing glass. The car still starts and runs smoke-free.

This will be all that I will post on this until I get back on with my own password, then I will post more on the thread for selling cars. I have no idea what the car is worth, so I am open to suggestions. I just want someone on the network who loves these cars to give it the loving restoration that it deserves and enjoy the thrill of ownership that I enjoyed for many years.

I can fix all of that for you if you want... No need to sell it like that, it'll be worth more if you sell it in good running condition

Thanks Tom..very, very much.....Larry offered to get the old "Snowshoe" gang together at my place to do just that...but the time has come to move on. If someone put "sweat equity" into the car, then I couldn't sell it, and it know longer makes any sense for me to keep it. If I haven't been able to give it the care that it deserves, things will probably not get any better any time soon. Meanwhile, someone else can have the thrill of ownership of one of the sexiest cars ever built.

PS...I'm still hoping someone will help me log on under "SVXphile".

Do I have to become a new member just to get back aboard?

sorry I am not an admin that can take care of that or help... But if you want your SVX to go to a good home... I am always willing to take in an orphin... It will remain stock I promise... I will go wild on my teally

Stevebsy was going to try to help you out.
If he sent a PM, even if the notification window flashed and went away, you can still see if there are unread PM's by looking in the small gray box in the upper right corner of the screen.

I clicked on the box and found his message. He found the problem was the site only recognized my old email address....a very old one....and I guess I never updated it.

The service doesn't even exist anymore. Now if I could update it to my current one, I'd be off to the races!

Tom, as long as you don't have relatives named Big Tony etc.
