The first car I've owned is my 95 SVX. Before this, I drove a 1991 Legacy for about 3 years.

My first car was also how I met Giugiaro...
The only car that always somhow gets left off lists of cars designed by Giugiaro.... ready..
A state police intercepter 1989 Eagle Primier Limited ES White with white matching wheels... the ONLY way the car looked good. It only had a few oil changes before it became my mothers. I traded my boat with a guy in exchange for overhauling (mechanics and body/paint) my mother's old benz. I got the Primier and a a little insurance out of it.
I loved that car, it was fast like hell and I would regularly haul 6 frinds in it. Not sure what the staties did to it, but the spare I bought didn't stand a chance against it. I wish I knew more about cars when I owned it. After that I got into I6 Benz sedans... and then everything.

You have a long way to go!

Fifty years ago I built my first car myself, from a 1929 Fiat 509. It was quite successful in competition when pitted against then new sports cars.

1982 Volvo wagon - 5speed. thing was a boat.

Then:
1987 ford ranger - 5speed
1989 ford probe - 5speed
1993 ford probe - 5speed
1993 ford probe - 5speed
1987 ford thunderbird - auto
1993 saturn SL1 - 5speed
1990 mitsu eclipse - 5speed
2001 chevy cavalier - 5speed
1994 nissan altima - 5speed
1991 mitsu eclipse - 5speed
1993 mazda mx6 - 5speed
1997 ford explorer - auto
1994 subaru svx - auto, then 5speed

Interesting collection i think. If i had pulled the money i paid for these cars, and spent fixing/building them up, i could own a very nice maserati right now.

1987 Volvo 740 turbo. Was in great condition when I bought it aside from fixing a frame rail because of hidden rust. Was RWD and a lot of fun once I turned the boost pressure up to 13lbs. Had a Garrett T3 turbo and I put a lot of time and effort into it. Pretty reliable overall but left me stranded twice because of electrical problems. Last couple of days I owned it the wiring for the windshield wipers started smoking under the dashboard so I had to remove the fuse. She suffered from bad piston slap to the point where people thought it was a diesel motor, and I guarantee the rods were S shaped after over boosting a few times.

This is a couple of pictures I took a week or so before parting her out.

And this is what replaced her, picture taken after a few months of modification.

This was a tank in the snow with Nokian Hakka 2s on the rear wheels. Better than some 4wds in the snow but could drift easily with just a couple lbs of boost.
