Painting my 1994 SVX LSI

Well, this past week I took my SVX in the pait shop to have it partially repainted. ( Driver's Side, along with the hood & sun roof ) The rest of the car is fine. The hood has rust built up on the front edge, the sun roof as a dent from a flying rock when I was driving. And the driver's door has a rust spot rght where the top of the lower body cladding. Well it turns out, the rust area is so bad that the rusted area just fell off when pushed on by small amount of pressure. Also on the drivers side are small door dings. Two options: 1) get a new door, $700 or have it patched with a metal plate welded, grounded to smooth have fill it in with bondo. Well, I picked the secound option. The hole was described to me as the size of a golf ball. This whole thing is costing alot to do. Fortuately my wife's 2000 Legacy Outback had to be taken in at the same time for her front bumper to get fixed when my sister-in-law got into an small accident. So I thought I would take the opurtunity to have a free rental from my insurance company and take in my SVX at the same time. I love my car!

Color of my SVX

The color of my SVX is Laguna Blue. This partial paint job is costing me so far $ 2000, something. I am also having the passenger side lower body cladding removed as well to see if rust has started, hopefully not. I stopped at the paint shop today, all my dents and rust hole is already fixed. I can not even tell there was a metal patch welded on, that and with some bondo. Well, my car is in good hands, I trust these people, when I look around at what other types of cars they fix. There was a Ferrari 360 Modena geting the front bumper worked on.

Mouse

Well, the mouse just so happens to have been on the counter when I was taking photos of the modified shift kit. Hey you forgot the Star Bucks coffee!
