I've never seen that written before, but sure have some klunking in the front end when going over bumps in my '96.

Anyone know if this was common to the later years?
I think it can be a generic problem. In most cases nothing is broken or loose.

Is there a price on replacing the twin turbos? I think mine stopped working

I might have a bad flux capacitor also. When I hit 88 MPH nothing happens.......

Uh, yeah right. The '92 model actually got the fastest acceleration times over the later years. Hence the basis for the mysterious '30hp' theory...
is this the ecu crush mod???

wow, I don't understand the reason for the Insurance Rating being so high,.........my insurance is extremely low, to put into perspective, my old Chevrolet Corsica had higher insurance than my SVX ever did.......

uuh where am I?

My insurance is almost $260.00 a month. I am 22, but there has never been a speeding ticket or accident on my record. I do have full coverage though.

Woah. I have one point from a hit and run on my coverage (I was the victim of the hit and run, too). When I was living in So Cal a few months ago, I had great coverage. Almost $190 a month, and I am 18 (gonna be 19 real soon). I feel ya man.

Almost forgot, that +30HP thing, I'm quite SURE that there is some trace of truth in this ..... I remember when they released the SVX in Sweden -92, the specs was 250HP ...!!

...and... my SVX is REALLY fast, not extreme in acceleration or so, but in TOP SPEED ...wow

And yeah, my full insurance costs me $85 a month too

Have you all forgotten who rated the SVX. If it ain't motortrend or C&D, it ain't been rated right. lol

Seriously, they make a few good points, but other than that, they are a bunch of bumbling idiots. Clutch, revised strut system(1992). Come on, they obviously don't know the history of the car and hence base their biased opinion on one SVX they drove instead of driving many and coming up with an average.

Most of the bad marks they gave the SVX are true, mpg, and space are two of the things they got right.
