That's a riot! Subaru tranny's are rebuilt by a company here in the States, not by STI. STI had nothing to do with rebuilding SVX trannys then, and I doubt they do now!

The image is from a Japanese site, though, so who knows? I mean, I doubt it, too - but we don't have a context in which to put the image.

My tranny was rebuilt by GOD. I just don't have the sticker to prove it yet.

Were the JDM trannies also rebuilt by the same company in the USA?

I doubt it. Subaru probably has rebuilders all over the place.

If the sticker is on a Japanese car, I might believe it. I find it more feasable though that STI helped re-design the SVX tranny after the first batch turned out to be problematic.

If it is a Japanese car, WHY IS THE STICKER NOT IN JAPANESE!

The Japanese may have horrible English skills (in general), but they love to use English on signs and advertisements. Its very cool to use English.

Hey, Seattle has a lot of Japanese people out there. Can you see if you can get one to translate it?

The sticker which you drew up separately largely 5 types
A: Color laser output and laser corresponding glossy tack/tuck paper
B: Color laser output and laser corresponding glossy tack/tuck paper, glass laminating
C: Color laser output and laser corresponding glossy tack/tuck paper, mat laminating
D: Ink jet output, diamond fitting and mat laminating
E: Ink jet output, CP mat vinyl chloride paste being attached and Gross laminating
Photograph: White edition FLAT-6 of the diamond fitting of D you attach, it is regrettable for the just a little rubbish to have been taken,

found this also on his website:

seems like the guy's tranny died and got a new tranny and during this time came up with an idea to make a sticker, not clear if the tranny was from subaru tho.... maybe someone with better japanese can explain what's up

JDM transmissions are NOT rebuilt by STi. They are rebuilt by a company in Osaka and only come with a 12 month/10,000km warranty.

The guy's transmission died, he got a Subaru rebuilt one and then decided to create a sticker to show that the transmission had been exchanged.
