Question So...what did Santa bring you?

So...what's your favorite gift?

Woohoo! I got myself a welder!

140amp stick welder. It's not the greatest welder out there, but it was cheap and will let me tack up stuff at home so I can get it over to the shop and finish it with the big toys over there. For what I need it to do, it fits the bill perfectly.

Happy Holidays and happy new year to all my fellow SVXers out there!

What a romantic svxfiles is.......

He got me new rotors -- drilled & slotted front, drilled back. Woo hoo! I guess I'll get the stainless steel lines for my birthday (in March).

Are we crazy (about our cars) or what ?

My in-laws got me a really cool 18v Ryobi set with a drill, circular saw, reciprocating saw, flashlight and a wet-dry vac. So now i can build myself a friggin' work bench out in the garage.

But the coolest gift I got this year - probably any year - is the one I got from my wife. She got me flying lessons! Woohoo! One hour of ground school and one hour of flying time!

I got 3 new DVDs, T2 & T3 (I finally have the complete set), and Chasing Amy (I also have the complete Kevin Smith set now, too). And a game, the Zelda Collectors Edition. And the SVX pace car poster from eBay. Oh yeah, and the SVX itself. It was my birthday present 6mos ago, too.

I'm really glad too hear you got what you really wanted. Thats one of those things we all take for granted until we're in you position, and we shouldn't. I'm lucky enough (I think) to have my girls home all the the time, and I try to make the most of it.
