Wonder why they painted the hood black or switched out the original for an ebony and then claim that there's no repaint/bodywork? Do they think people bidding wont notice or care?

If it's original factory paint then it's not the original hood or the body is not the original color, which the guy doesn't seem to want to admit. Funny how people get all defensive when they're obviously lying or wrong. I kinda wonder if people bidding on these things would appreciate a heads-up about what we know are lies, or if it's just meddling.

As the premier SVX organization in the free world, I think it's up to us to maintain the integrity of the Marque and to hold hucksters to account. I don't think it'd be meddling. Just make sure of your facts before calling someone on something. THIS instance, however, would be one for a "head's up."

Yes, it may be factory paint, but it ain't factory scheme.

I'll bet the hood was replaced with a black one somewhere along the line and he doesn't know it.

Besides that this car is in EXCELLENT condition for 137500 miles! For only $2,250.00 it's a steal. THEIF!

Atleast the auction doesn't say its original

Actually the RSX hood is carbon fiber, I wouldn't have even brought up the SVX if it was carbon fiber.
