Gas price change due to attack

I don't know about everywhere else, but in light of the attack this morning. Gas prices have gone up, to this point from $1.50ish to $2.10, with most likely rising to astronomical prices by late tonight.

On the radio they are saying that the high prices are not due to a shortage of gas, but to try to slow the chaos that is going on

Call me dense, but, how is further raping the American public through gas prices going to "slow chaos." The chaos has been done. People need to get places to comfort family members. To me, this is insult to injury.

My thoughts exactly. I'm screwed cuz I had planned to get gas today, because I'm running on fumes right now, now I can't get any because:

1. The lines at stations are rediculus
2. There is no way that @ $5.00/gallon x 15gallons == $75

I don't think so

For now I don't now the exactly price for the gas here in Switzerland, but they show here on TV pictures from Germany, where much people want buy gas before the prices rise up. So I think tomorrow morning will cost here the gas too more.

This shows, that this horrible attack not "only" kill and hurt thousands of innocend people, it has too an economic result. I hope, they will punish this terroriste soon!!!

It's been around $2/gal for the premium around milwaukee too.

But those of us fortunate enough to live in Milwaukee and Chicago get a 'special' brand of RFG that costs more than the RFG that other areas need to use.

The **** at the gas station yesterday was unnerving though. I managed to completely fill my tank before people even started raising prices or going nuts and getting in line to fill. We took my GF's car out later in the day and the station was a mess. A station down the street had a newscrew at it since they raised their price to over 4/gal.

Gas Prices in Cali

The gas prices have NOT seemed to change here YET. Still $1.69 for 92.

Hopefully it stays the same.

Ciao

This is the kind of thing that brings chaos to the country. We (as in everyone in the US) need to be calm. Panic will cause more harm and more people who wants to rip people off will show up at every corner of the street.
