SVX on a diet today! I'm exhausted.

Well, I finally got down to business on my mechanical issues and knocked them out today.

I replaced the power steering pressure hose and the reservoir O-ring, refilling partially with the magic Lucas power steering juice and the rest with DexIII. MAN! My steering is so much better now, it's sad how much better it feels. I'm going to get spoiled now..

I also replaced the broken corner light (thanks elininoalex!) and the car looks much more respectable now.

Third job... removed all the heat shielding. Man, it's so much quieter at idle now, very nice. I won't miss them.

Here's everything I removed today... notice the pile of nuts and bolts in the center...

Porter,
Nice job...watch where you park your ride when the leaves start falling - one of the reasons they put the shielding on is to keep cars from becoming "carbaques" if they're parked on dry leaves when their cats/mufflers/pipes are hot....
-Bill
p.s. how's the springs/struts/sway bars experiment going?

Hey porter - what are you doing with the cat converter covers?
(thinking of clamping some on to make my undercarriage look stock)

It's the new Horizon Records CD shop and cafe... I've been doing the audio system for them. It's a cool project, you should stop by and give it a listen.

Oh, and the cat covers are yours! Drop me a line and I'll get them to you.
