I'm using 15 y/o K2 SL Slaloms and they work just fine. (Bashed up a bit on the tops though. ) I rented some new spoon-heads last year for three days when we took the SVX to CO (no rack either ), and it's part of the reason I didn't fight the bride when she wanted to take the Volvo this year. I get to take my skis!
