Check sears. I just bought some Michelin Pilot Alpins for my mercedes there for around 80 bucks a tire.

Where did you get the pilot sport as at that price? That's a great number!!

I looked for 2 months for great deals on tires, and got some TA/V's from tire rack for 2 bucks more than you paid. well done dude! want to trade tires?

kinda late for that. i did a sears search and the cheapest snow tire (firestone winterforce) in the skinny size was only $2.14 per tire less expensive.

I got them on the employee discontinued tire list. Certain discontinued sizes or end of model runs that they are clearing inventory. It's a crapshoot what will come up, so I just check it daily.
First time I've ever caught 225/45 17 come up in something good. I guess that size must have no problem selling out normally. I had to pay retail for my last set of pilots. Beautiful tires, but man are they ever expensive! I was planning on going back to the old standby falken azenis until these came up.
