Is this really safe?????

So I'm a artard and blew my fusible link while adding the alternator wire mod thing. I could not get a replacement at Autozone or Advance so I said screw it. I took the broken wire a put an 80A fuse in it with spade connectors and shoved the factory spade connectors back in the fuse box. You guys think this is an adequate substitute?

Re: Is this really safe?????

I don't agree.
As long as the fuse one puts in is the same value, and in the same location it is just as safe- the fuse will likely blow faster than the link, but it sure isn't dangerous.
