Fuse Box Questions

Question 1:
I heard that in an Outback that you can pull a fuse that can disengage the rear wheels and just make it front wheel drive. Can you do that with the SVX?

Queston 2:
I was looking at the fuse box and I noticed that on it, it said (Seat Heater). Did they have heated seats in any other countrys or did they use the same box in a different model?

1 Yes, in the fuse box under the hood by the battery, there is a slot labled "FWD" if you put a 10 amp fuse in that spot it will "Diss-engage" the rear transfer clutchs that drive the rear diff.

2.yes, seat heaters were available in other contrys...including Canada, but not in the USA

If you look in the outback by the back of the engine bay on the passanger side, there's a FWD pocket for a fuse that disables the AWD making it FWD only. Similarly, the SVX has one in the fuse box under the engine. It's located in the front next to the AC fuse. If you install it, CHECK CAREFULLY when you go to remove it, as if you remove the AC fuse on accident, it will prevent your radiator fans from turning on, your car will overheat, possibly causing engine damage, or in my case, simply blowing the radiator, causing there to be an ERUPTION of water flooding out from your hood in all directions. In my case, it shot out both sides of the car under the hood about 4 feet, getting both the cars next to me nice and wet.

How do you tell if you have heated seats or not?
Where would controls be?
