Question fuel filter question

i got a fuel filter and wanted to replace it, but i need to kill power to the fuel pump to relieve the pressure. a post in the archives says "pull the fuel pump fuse". there are no relays or fuses in the engine compartment or interior fusebox labeled for the fuel pump ('97's different?). is it located somewhere other than the two fuseboxes? the Chilton manual says "disco the wiring to the fuel pump", but isn't it up above the gas tank? arrrgh! thanks for any help!

If you lift the rear seat pad out it is the connector on the passenger side under the seat with the most wires going to it. I will attach a pic if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

If you leave the car sit overnight, you won't have a problem with pressure (at least I didn't).

Be careful, though. There will be a bunch of fuel in the old filter.
