MOMZ has a question?

Okay if I prefer my svx to be a daily driver and desire to have more kick to the pedal. What do I need to do to my car? Can someone offer a ruff estimate of price as well as offer a small description of what needs to be done? I have read on the forum about the 4.44 swap. I am uncertain if I want to put so much money into it. I love how the car runs now. I just would like a little extra for a bit of a thrill. The thrill I would love to have again is skydiving. I had only done this once in a tandem jump in AZ. This time I would like the thrill on wheels with my own foot.

contact budfreak. I think he has a shop and charges around 1500 for a 4.44 swap. I haven't done it but I would say it's worth it from what everyone writes. I just have to save my money and find someone who can do it, then i'll do mine.

ECUtune? I'm amazed at the useable improvement down low, as in around town driving, that the Stage1 delivers. IMHO good bang for the buck.

Exhaust is also a good idea. I did mine at a lil shop, we just took out my muffler, and put in two glass packs, one for each tip. It really helps the sound and performance.

Either 4.44's or ECUTUNE stage 1V5 are the only mods your going to find that will feel like they were worth it when you smash the pedal IMHO.

Check out my website and look under SVX performance. I think you'll like what you get for the price on a 4.44 swap.

I second this..The v1.4 chip blew my mind, and version 1.5 is better ..wait till your tranny blows up to do the 4.44 swap...its only a matter of time

Thanks Everyone

Thanks for the information. How much is the ECU 1V5 cost and can it be installed easily? I like the idea of a 4.44 swap and plan on waiting on that.
