taking SVX to inspection (first post)

I am buying green 92 LS-L. It has 126000KM (79K miles)I am going to take it wednesday to the dealer to make a mecanic inspection. I wanted to know what I could tell the mecanic to check (specific to SVXs), and also what are the numbers that i'm suppoosed to obtain for the engine compression.
They just rebuid the tranny, but they are giving me only 3 month warranty??
Any one else from Montreal??

My first suggestion is to change the tranny oil after 5000km on the rebuilt tranny. There will be lots of metal in the oil as the tranny breaks in. I have seen this on a rebuilt engine as well as the rebuilt tranny in my SVX.

Have them check the brakes to ensure adequate material is left and the rotors are not warped.

Get a longer warranty...even if it costs more.

Listen for any rattles in the suspension. When I bought mine the swaybar links were worn and needed replacing. This was done at no cost to me.

Although my name is french and I live in Canada I'm unable to communicate well, if at all, with it.

When I bought my car the dealership gave me a one year warranty through a company called Wynn's. I think this is their website:

Fortunately I did not have to rely on them for the entire duration of the warranty.
