Cleaning IAC

Has anyone done this without removing the throttle body? It looks like you could remove it from under the throttle body without removing the throttle body. Any thoughts?

Haven't tried yet. I'm probably going to remove the TB and clean both at the same time.

Its not hard to remove the throttle body itself. Overall, I'd imagine the job would be easier if you first removed the complete throttle body and then pulled the IAC from the throttle body.

i just sprayed throttle body cleaner into the hose for the iac until it had a puddle of cleaner in it then i lightly blew it threw by blowing on the hose. do it 2 or 3 times and see what happens.
