To conclude this thread, I have won the case sorta. The guy that sorts out the case if its dismissed or if it should go to court, said if I am sure that I wanna fight it, I said yea, he was following me and was waiting for me to do something but couldnt find anything and wrote me this false ticket. He said yea I know that sometimes cops do follow cars to write tickets, which I hate. (which I was real surprised to hear from his mouth), and then he said ok have a seat and called the officer up. Then I guess he said he's coming and I waited. 5 mins later, the officer called and said he's suddenly sick and he cant make it, what BS! so the guy said ok ill change it for another day, then I said no I have classes and I cant keep coming back and fourth, then he said ok only pay the surcharge, and there will be no record of this on your license or anything. So I said ok and gave in. So basically the damn city wanted money, CROOKED law system!!

The same thing happened in front of me over here. It happened that the guy was from a Lebanese Intelligence Director. they started a conversation calmly, then suddenly, the "CIA" guy opened his car's door, got out and started beating the crap out of the officer. he kept beating him until blood surged from his nose and mouth, and his uniform torned up..

i know what you are thinking right now, i wish i can do the same, right??? hehe

whats the penalty for cell phone ban in NY?

im md we have a law prohibiting the driver from having any object in his hand(s) other than the wheel or shift stick. its only a 15 dollar fine and i've never heard of a case that enforced it.

we got alot of oddball laws. i like to sodomy law the best.

You get cought with a cell phone while driving in new york you will be paying out of your ass for the ticket. I think the second offense is 500 or 700 dollars. First might be around 300.

Funny thing is that the law isn't REALLY enforced all that often. People...especially women ive noticed use their cell phones like they have to use it to breath. Their always on it while driving...i havent seen alot of guys doing that though but most of the ladies do. Cops just drive past people who are on it and don't even say anything.
