BTW, you suck at the internet!
I alway tip at least a buck. I used to work in a coffee shop and trust me those tips make up most of your salary!!

That's BS! In the good ol' days, it was just as common to tip the SS attendant as it was your waitress. It was "class" for someone to show their appreciation for the fellow that cleaned your windshield, checked your tires, *asked* if you'd like 'em to check under the hood, etc. Now if you can just get someone to pump your gas for you, I think it's nice to show your appreciation.

Anyway, when I was a pump jockey, It sure felt nice for someone to flip you a quarter and say, "thanks, good job." It made up for Mr. Biggerstaff who came in and said, "Three dollars worth of regular and check *everything*." Then, he'd stand over me and make sure I checked all fluids, checked every hose, made me show him the dipstick and the air guage, when I checked the tires, then, drove off without as much as a "thank you."

Tell that "someone" to go back to self-serve if he can't appreciate the guy coming out to fill his tank in sub-zero, bone-chilling cold and driving rain, while he sits his toasty a$$ in his warm comfy car.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Smoking

Hi Kelli, Everyone around here is proud you stuck to it. Just remember, the month of December is really dangerous for new non smokers. Keep strong, do not let someone offer you a cigarette at a party. Ask the person when they are going to wise up and quit. Be a leader, and show everyone how strong you are. Take care and have great holidays, BOBB

I like it now that in Winnipeg there is a complete indoor smoking ban!

I can go out whenever I want and not have to sit in a smoke filled room the whole night!!
