Squirters just died.

Anyone know if you can rebuild the pump? Or where to get a new one? Any information on windshield squirter fluid systems, please post.

I know you can buy universal pumps at auto parts stores for pretty cheap. I had to put one in my Toyota truck after a Jiffy Lube filled my washer tank with plain water in winter.

Jerks.

It won't bolt in as nicely as the OEM pump, but then it won't cost you an arm and a leg either.

I sure did - I never gave them my business again!

Actually, Kelli, that was when I lived in Pittsburgh while going to school. The washer tank didn't actually freeze until I was visiting my parents in Wisconsin.

I doubt very much that they would have owned up to it. They didn't want to fix the oil leak they caused during the same oil change. It turned out that they had broken the gasket on the drain plug.

that sucks, i am sorry to hear...i hate the fact that you always have to do the best you can do...and others don't

when we just got our driveway paved...four days laters...i could lift up pieces of the pavement and it was 1/2" thick...when it was supose to be 4" thick...they did a ****ty job..they have been back 4-6 times fixing things that if they did right the first time, there wouldn't be a problem

Yeah, no kidding. My mom's having problems with termites right now. A couple years ago, she paid a company to tent the house and install termite traps and things around the yard. She had HUGE new windows put upstairs and, less than a year later, the frames are totally destroyed by termites.

It's like paying the mob for 'protection' and then having them do a drive-by. Anyway, happy ending this time. She had a problem getting them to own up to it, but it turns out that they're accepting responsibility.

My favorite recent experience, though, was when I took my wife's Legacy to the dealer for that electrical short.

'Hey, we found the problem, but in the process we broke some expensive parts - so that'll be $750.'
