Anyone catch the lunar eclipse?

I photographed the progress and photoshopped it all together. Looks pretty neat!

yes I watched. I love this stuff. Bought a new telescope just for the Mars approach. Read some good stuff on Voyager leaving the heliosphere the other day - in the newspaper of all places.

good job on the photos BTW.

Cool. I kinda saw a little of it (looked like 7:40 on your chart) but couldn't see it very well because it was overcast.

Good job, lets us that wanted to see it but couldn't have a glance.

My mom called me and asked if I could see it. I was at the office at the time, and I said I'd go outside and look. All I had to do was turn my head 90 degrees and I could see it outside my big fat window.

Very cool. It was completely clear out that night and I watched the whole thing as I worked.

I usually miss crap like this. There was a total solar eclipse which was supposed to be visible at sunrise while I was living in VT. Of course, it was completely cloudy.

The Leonid meteor showers were supposed to be really fantastic a couple years ago. I got up before the butt-crack of dawn, at around 3:30, and found the thickest fog I've ever seen. I didn't even feel safe to drive to the park I was planning on going to because I didn't feel safe driving in it. And I love driving in inclement weather, so imagine how bad it was.

When Mars was at its closest my wife, a couple friends and I went to the University to look at it through their observatory's telescopes. It was sorta cloudy, but as I was about to end my turn on the big 'scope and give up, the clouds passed and I got a good view of it. Mind you, it was still blurry, but I saw the polar ice cap - friggin' awesome.

Cool

i saw it as i was walking out of my dorms with my roomate. he thought that it was a balloon in the sky. lets say he got slapped by a half dozen laughing people before we told him that the giant balloon was really the moon. haha oh well maybe they don't have moons in hawaii but instead have illuminated balloons.

oh man its really bad. from someone who has gone through drug use and succesfully quite i know that the problem here is pretty bad. i think 80 percent of my floor does drugs in their rooms. one of my stupid roomates was doing shrooms on halloween and i had a good time messing with him. anyone who wants to mess with someone on shrooms, i advise making a copy of pink floyds dark side of the moon and playing them 3-4 seconds apart in stereos that are on the opposite side of the room. man i think that he was about to jump up and run out of the room. anyway drugs are not all bad as long as you use them in moderation and stay away from the chemical one. but then again no one ever just does them in moderation.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.
