C&D remembers us!!!

The SVX was mentioned in the 12/2002 issue of Car and Driver on page 44 in the same breath as the 3000GT, RX-7, Supra, and VW Corrado as a dead breed of great cars that nobody bought anymore...pretty cool. Check it out. BTW the article was a comparo of the Audi TT, the S2000, the Mustang Mach 1, and the 350Z...VERY unbalanced I think.

Funny, aside from the AMC Eagle all 3 of the weird subies sit in my driveway. What irritates me about the recent articles by C&D about the Ba-ha- ha- ha is that they kinda make fun of the Brat. Way back in 82 they gave the Brat RAVE reviews for its unique functionality and abilities. How soon they forget.

Yeah, but take a look at the U.S. automarket in 82. The Brat is and remains a bright spot.

Tood,

20 years ago is nothing. I dead C&D when it was SCI (Sports Car Illustrated) and I think it was a much better mag back then.

I like it better reversed ("Johnson Maven", as in "Boy howdy, that guy's a REAL johnson maven!").

Of course, that presumes a knowledge of the definition of the word "maven".

I made a post about this same article about 3 weeks ago, including some comments about a SECOND article in the same issue that mentioned the SVX, and nobody said squat about it. My feelings are really hurt. Waaaaaah.
