Aredub,

What'll make me feel better is if that car sat on MY driveway...

Seriously, it was one of those don't-matter-either-way things. Back to lurking for a replacement...

The penlight takes XXXX batteries (4 X). I got mine at Radio Shack. Do you have the black purse that goes with it?

Congrats on the 2nd one. Now you can relate to my saying - "Bet you can't buy just one!!!" Enjoy

Thank you, Earl. I've got to pick up some GP27A's for one of the remotes, also. I had purchased a "black purse" on e-bay for my current car, but, it was sans the penlight. The black purse came with this one WITH the penlight. It also has all of the original "security system" notes in the purse as well as the checklist sheet and a few other "goodies."

I'll have to admit, it's nice to have, what seem, identical cars with one actually being the "bad boy" of the two.

Does this addiction ever subside?

I haven't the foggiest idea. However I went to my old tranny shop today (we had our work van serviced there) to drop off a co-worker. Sitting there in the lot was a beautiful '94 Pearl. I asked the owner about it. He said he's had it for about two months. They guy brought it in shortly after I had mine rebuilt and it had started slipping again. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the guy screwed the shop owner on a different business deal and the owner thinks he's afraid to come back. I told him, if the guy doesn't come back, and he needs someone to come hall the thing off, to give me a call.

OK Randy, I smell a covert operatioon in our near future, we take the "Bad Boy" over to the tranny shop late one night, and switch all the good parts off the parked 94 Pearly onto your "Bad Boy", and the bent part back onto it, and let the shop owner tell him it was a hit and run doot... doot...doot-doot...., doot ...doot...doot-doot... da-da-da...da-da-da...da-da-da...DA-DA!

Oh, sure - take her side. Now you force me to hinder her car's performance while she is out of town.
She'll never know.
I will be the fastest by far!!
Hah hah hah hah hah
She's gonna be mad when she finds my new stereo - how about a nitrous system??

I'm thinking that spare tire well on her car would look pretty good filled with concrete.

Randy,

I was and still am interested in a '94 Pearly, especially if the right one comes along. What exactly is the tranny problem.
