PWR Radiator cap issues.

My cap is rubbing on the hood causing some issues what has anyone done in the past to make this issue fixed??

You can always get another radiator cap for it, some auto parts stores have nice and flat ones...

You can also cut the rubber bushings from underneath the radiator to let the radiator sit a bit further down.

You can also drill out the four boltholes on the top mounting brackets to lean the radiator backwards for more clearance.

thanks for the help guys... i have the one ear cut off already and that doesnt work... its shaved down a bit.. ill do some more off the bushings i guess. Kind of confused... i had a pwr in my last svx and never had issues..

I actually thought PWR fixed that issue after the initial group buy. For those of you that don't know, PWR actually sent each of the group buy purchasers a billet cap without any tabs.

Still have mine - brand new! I actually prefer the stock cap with an ear cut off. The billet cap was just too tall and still rubbed.
