I haven't seen that one before - it must have just come up for sale!

I think the seller is being a bit ambitious in asking $13,500 for it though....

I wouldn't pay more than $10,000 for that one - and it would have to be in IMMACULATE condition........

I would also immediately knock at least $2,000 off the price that I would pay if it was still on its original transmission - but with over 200,000 kms, that seems unlikely!

..........at least you wouldn't have to repaint it.......!

Re: I Am Back !

Well ... I would still have to paint it eventually ... burgundy is only *almost* purple ... but, it would keep me happy for a couple of months *grin*

Yes, $13500 seems very high, compared to others, and it does not look any better than all the rest. Esp since there is a 96 cheaper.

The $7500 black one needs rocker cover gaskets and tyres the owner tells me.

Still waiting to hear from the guy in Lambton about the white $9900, that is less than 1 hour from me, and the ad says teh tranny is reconditioned and timing belt done ... Easiest for me to see and buy, and paint purple !!

Re: I Am Back !

that car confuses me...when did airbags come out?

Also, it's two tone...I thought the change to airbags changed to the single colours?

It also has 4 seatbelts...do the later ones have 5?

Its got a single back to the rear seat, and the later ones do have 5 belts.

Re: I Am Back !

Reading Redbook says that the 1993-1994's had a single drivers airbag, whilst the 1995's went for the two airbags. Redbook does say they are 2 seaters only too...so you never can trust it.

Learn something new about these cars everyday!

And on the split back seat, I remembered mine had the dual split, but that the 1992's I had were a single back seat too.

I never knew they came with single drivers airbag - always assumed they had them (both or not at all)

Learn something new every day!

there's a 95 for sale in WA that's white with black roof/ ala 2 colour which I thought strange as I assumed they went to one colour.
Mines a 95 but 3 tone, red, faded red and really bad faded mirrors red
