the console
first and foremost as of last weekend I have a new baby....and it's the 92 SVX i now drive. can you believe i found a 92' with only 49K it's like getting a new car. one thing iv'e been wondering about is when i was talking to the previous owner about movement in the console he replied with. "they all do that" is this true and what can i do to secure it a little better.
thanks. |

you can have a small piece of material cut and drilled to fit in the console box and will make it very solid. Worked for me!

My entire console is just sitting there with gravity... If I ever roll the car, it's gonna be flyin everywhere.

console wobblies
Mine finally wobbled loose last year. I took the 'floor' mat stuff out of the bottom of the console and found that the plastic material held down by the large screw/bolt thingie had broken away. The plastic material down there is thin. I super glued the piece back in position in the bottom of the console and used oversize washers to spread the load when I re-attached it.
