where's the Beav?

I really wanted to meet "the Beav" at the meet....I was told he was there; but just made a brief appearance and then left....
Mabey everyone was trying to put him to work!

I haven't seen any posts from him since the meet....

Hope all is ok....

I was wondering the same thing, Ward. June hasn't seen him and neither has Wally.

We were sippin' suds together Friday nite, then, he just disappeared. Hopefully Eddie Haskall didn't do something sinister.

Last I saw him was Saturday morning in the lobby, as Steve set up shop to pawn off the goods...

Come to think of it, it was right before I met you, Randy...

I guess he left early?

I saw Beav Friday night and, I think, Saturday morning. I was really glad to finally meet him and thank him for all of the great advice he'd given me.

Significant Technical Input
It's nice to be missed...

I've been kind of burned out with a lot of work and the heat, etc.
I apologize for missing so many of you in Lafayette, I couldnt take the heat and my Rx doesn't allow me much time in the sun. I ran into some snags and decided to just call it a day. It wasn't a total loss - I did have a couple good lunches at Hooters....

I looked in a few times and saw that Chris was moving the server. Normally I do my e-mail and other bulk typing on my desktop and use this computer as a jukebox for the big screen. I had forgotten that my desktop developed a problem learning new ip addys (win2k - if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears), I thought Chris was having some serious problems until yesterday when I looked in from this computer...I had some 120+ new posts showing, so if anyone addressed me and I haven't replied, try me again.

Beav,

If you're having software problems, and it's Win2k, PM or e-mail me. I'd be glad to help with all the help you've given.

That's me speciality.

Beav,
You were certainly missed, but glad to know you're okay. I thought I was going to have to make a call to your shop just to make sure you were okay.

Meanwhile, I was certain you were going to try the "Triple, Triple-X Family Restaurant" before you left Lafayette.

I've learned not to be too judgemental about others people's lifestyles. If it floats your boat, just do it. But, I wouldn't mind filming your encounters, however, just for uh... kicks, heh-heh!

Ron.

Beav, I do senior technical support on Win95 to WinXP as well as on Mac OS8 to OSX (10.1.5).

If there's anything you need help with just let me know. That goes for anyone here on the network that needs any help with their computers or connections.

I thought OSX was only up to 10.1.3? I can handle networking, but OSX is getting to be a real pain...actually not just OSX, but rather the one and only Mac in our entire organization!

Yup, 10.1.5 is the latest at least. Our test iMac (iLamp ) is running it.
