Gripes: Fake wood, flimsy spare tire well cover, dopey jack, all-but-useless glove box. Otherwise, I love my cars.

I was going to say... isn't premium actually 92+ ?
With prices slowly slowly slowly edging down, who knows... I may fill up the tank to FULL next week

I don't see 94 octane anymore now that E85 **** took it's place. Then again with prices the way they are, I doubt many people are putting 94 in anyways @ some $4.33 /gal., which may explain its disappearance.

Re: just for fun :)

theres a shell near my house that has 94, but is 5 something a gal. why is there such a big gap in price between 93 and 94? my local exon sells 93 at 4.50 per gal

Re: just for fun :)

I've always ran 89 octane in my car since I bought it a year and some change ago and it runs REAL GOOD. When you fill your car with $5 per gallon gas tell me do you still get around 360+ miles before the light comes on? Plus Iv'e put in 93 for a while once and didn't see an improvement or performance loss.

i dont put in 93 for the reason of better performance off the line, i dont wanna wind up with that annoying "engine knock." just watch out ok? if its only been a year or so you prolly wouldnt see any problems. but any longer and your gonna start to see loss of compression power and horsepower. its not for the "now" its for the "later on"

I've always argued this with other people who say higher octane is a load of BS and does nothing. 89 to 92 may not be enough jump for much of a notice but here I can go from 87 to 93 and that -6 makes a noticeable difference. Flooring it with 87 is like "whiiiiiimmmmm" but with 93 it takes off.

@Wolfy - that's insane... a whole 50 cents more? It was only like 12 cents higher than the 93 so there were times I would do it but there's no way I'd pay .50+ cents for so little more.

Re: just for fun :)

I garentee it won't give me problems now or later. Believe me if it was going to knock it would have done so by now. I know how my engine runs in and out, done compression tests, run all synthetics, replace every worn or bad part. Everything is imaculate. Trust me.

Re: just for fun :)

well i also have to take in the fact that they were completely different gas stations... different companies have different pricing, but its still a large jump right?

So comfortable! I can sit in mine for hours and really not feel ickey.
I like the styling inside and out. The boxer six is great and of course the 5-speed

I dislike when things break. and the expensive windshield.

Re: just for fun :)

Likes: Solid feel, quiet comfort, and the fact that I don't ever even see anyone in one. Working on one isn't ridiculous either.

Dislikes: Cheap interior plastics, my leather is getting hard, glove box is a joke, wish the roof was glass.

BTW, mine has a cupholder in the center console as well. It came with the car so I cannot say where it came from. I am rather used to cars without cupholders though.
