Such a love hate relationship
So now finally after getting everything squared away with the SVX and the front dif and dealing with a 2 month dilema with it all I think Im just going to get rid of it. Im not sure if I should sell it as a working car or part it. Nothing is wrong with the car other than the Solenoid C apparently and there is a dent in the passenger fender. I just cant take this love hate relationship any more and my desire to put up with it is really diminishing... great car just too much of a hassle. Just looking to get some opinions on what to do with it.

It just seems there are more people interested in the parts than the car itself... Id love to find it a good home if I can.

I have really enjoyed the car but I think Im going back to Acura... I like the new RSX Type-S... I used to think that having a car paid off was cheaper but Ive smartened up and see that if you can afford a car payment then its the better way to go. I drive way too much to have to be worrying if the SVX is going to jerk me around. Someone will love it like I have.

By what you have said in the past and now, it sounds like you HATE it more than you LOVE it. Nothing personal, but just becasue it is not perfect, you want to part it out? That is not what I call Love. It would be much better to sell it to someone who can fix it and wants to keep it on the road. Danny mentioned that there are lots of parts around. He is right - on ebay and through this community. Good luck what ever you do.

think of the posibilities
Just think of how much you could do to the svx with the 10-15k that you would finace on an acura. Just get a loan from the bank for 5k do all the up grades you want and then you have your monthly pament.

Dont get me wrong... when the car is running right its great but you all know that as cars get older they need more and more upkeep. If I put 15 grand into an SVX I wouldnt get the probably 50-75,000 miles of trouble free times that I'd get out of a new car. If someone wants it then they can come and get it. You guys are right. Im not parting... its going as a whole.

I've been thinking of going the daily driver route myself lately. Thinking of getting one of those new subaru legacy coupe things.
I love the svx, but I want to have it around for a while, so I'd rather make it a sunday driver or something . |

Well I dont know how to love it right now. It died last night AGAIN after being out of the shop for a WEEK. I dont have another 2-3 grand to fix the transmission again. I just replaced the front dif for gods sake... *screaming while pulling hair out* Someone needs to come get this thing... make an offer or whatever... I just cant afford it this time...
UNLESS someone here in the DC area has a good trans for a good price. Otherwise I guess.... eh I dont even want to say the J word
