RSVXLsi, unless your speed was verified by a GPS or radar gun, an actual speed of 152mph is extremely unlikely. The stock SVX speedo can be inaccurate to as much as 10%.

At an indicated 152mph on the speedo, you may only going at a 'true' 137mph...

True. Also, ride height, and tire choice are very, very large factors at those speeds. Narrow, high-pressure, slicks are ideal for high speeds. I understand that most cars can easily gain ten miles an hour with narrower tires alone. I would not doubt this as I've observed higher speeds even with the same size tires run at the same pressure, by simply switching to a higher quality tire.

Yes, I have also noticed my speedometer to be extremely accurate. Most modern speedometers are generally quite accurate indeed, and I think most exceptions to this are a result of unusual tire sizing, as I've seen tires (namely cheap tires) that do not have the rolling circumference that should be expected based upon the size printed on the sidewall.

Possibly above 110 the tire diameter grows?

As far as I can tell but its was another 94 I heard about that had a higher top speed than 136.But then again my car shifts like a 92 it shifts exactly at 7000rpm or a little over 7 if you hold it in gear.

What we read about the svx isn't always true.My 94 ran more than 136 heres another guy his 96 also ran over 150.Sometimes what you read isn't the law.Thats how I warped my rotors. The second time I ran over 136 was on highway 95 racing a 97 on newer prelude he stop pulling at a little over 140 and I nearly went into another time zone passing him,I don't do that anymore.
