I thought my trans was slipping

Months ago I stopped driving my svx thinking trans was going again. (It started slipping, at least I thought so). Charged the battery, changed the oil, washed it off and drove it. Trans seems ok now. I "ain't no" mechanical genius but what the? Seems ok now. Of course, If I thought it was slipping and now I think it's fine...then really where am I? Either way I had a blast driving it and will certainly drive it today! Maybe I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

Did you change the engine oil, or the transmission oil?
If you continue to drive it with a slipping transmission you know that you will ruin the transmission.

Fluid temperature can play a big role here. I would keep a steady eye on it and make sure it does not have any future issues

Re: I thought my trans was slipping

I have partial rebuilds available if you want to replace and upgrade your transmission before it completely blows.
