New SVX Spotting..

Hi Guys n Gals,
Sorry I never made it to the South Coast drive, as I was still flying despite the weather.
Then spent most of Sunday changing a CV boot, Oh, what fun.
Anyway, driving home from flying last Saturday (16th), I came up behind a
Burgundy, Black top with wing '92 SVX driving the M4 towards Liverpool.
After passing him, he caught up, we waved, and I thought to give him one of our cards.
After pulling over, we had a quick chat, I think his name is Kevin(?) and his imacculate '92, which he bought new, has around 200k on it and custom plated
DL-9876 .
Loves the car and can't yet see a replacement for it but has a problem with his climate control that was quoted around $3,500! to fix.
I'm sure if he joins up we can source a better deal.
At a guess I think he is in the Picton/Thirlmere area.

Arthur.

The card;

Handy card Arthur.

Are you deputising for James while he is up in the wilds of England?

Joe

[You need to get a Camry. That way you can sneak up on SVXs and scare them good]

Bloody Irish noses everywhere, but we don't care, even way down here.

Welcome to Joe, may you always crow. Trevor

Although I passed on both sides, I don't recall seeing any dents?
As for using a Camry to chase with, I've used the wife's Corolla and works little Citreon van, which as I found can be quite embarrasing when you try to flash the lights, and just get the windscreen washers!!
The card is available in someones locker, I just added my rego to it.
Arthur.

Black over Bordeaux Pearl.

I don't ever see another SVX on the road .

I saw one on last Mondays Prime news. The news bit was about parking in Port Macquarie. As the camera scanned around, there was a Black over Bordeaux Pearl SVX from the back.
So who was lurking around up here?

Harvey.

Best part about me is all I have to do is ring up Dad and find out where he is. He and I drive the Charcoal and the White together all the time .

For those of you who weren't privy to the drive we had earlier this month, I am the proud owner of three SVX's now. I bought one earlier this year, with 55,000kms on it. It's in great condition, and apart from wobbly rotors (being replaced soon) and a scrape in the door (we have narrowed down a very good repairer to do it in the new year) it is perfect. She'll be kept in pristine condition, only taken out for special occasions. She is the apple of our eye.

In the photographs, look for the number plate SVX-92C. That's her.

Lucky dog! 55k Kilometres! Nice.

What photos McTaff? There is nothing in your locker.

Where are these photos to be seen?

Joe

[Does your Charcoal have a black roof and boot lid?]

Thanks Jason.

Very high class cars and lovely photos. I have saved them to one of my SVX files.

Nice one!
