external trans filter question
i removed my 4eat yesterday as my new jdm box has arived and i had been looking in the how to documents regarding all things trasmission.....
i discovered where the external filter is located and how to replace it..... one problem my svx does not have an external atf filter  is this normal for an Australian delivered SVX or should i add one into the system for my new trasmission?

Aus delivered svx'ers have a rear bias already!! same AS JDM,
whats the vote... should i just go ahead and add one? or does it have to do with a higher grade of oil out here that they may not need one??

Drop the skid Plate and look for the bottom of the battery....Right about there
 ......In regards to adding the filter I vote for yes to be on the same side.

it should be located here coreect??
 I do not have one, i added a trans cooler to my sytem today, wasnt to hard so installing an external filter should be easy

I spoke to Harvey, it is possible the aussie svx (or some year models) didnt have them... his svx does not have one either
