Hi Keven.
I will have to look into this to see if it is possible.

Even though the XT6, and the Legacy Outback use the 4EAT transmissions, the bell housings are different, and they might use different bearings, the pinion shafts might need different seals,,, untill I get a chance to call the local Subaru dealership, I just don't know.
Back when I had my 88+89 awd XT6i, they had 3.70 to one R+P ratios.
Does your fwd have 3.90?

Are there any Loyale based fwd 4EATs with gears with a higher (numerically) ratio? Tom.

If you are referring to 4.44s to work in SVXi, JDM is not necessary.

man those gears are killer. now only if the rest of the car would stop breaking. alt went out, david is coming down with a 'new' one tomarrow and im going to try to install it. after that all i need to do i figure out why my ac isn't working and ill be set for the summer. have i talked about all the hot women down in oc this past weekend(i use the term, women loosely as, to my suprise, most of the women i talked to were girls, 16-17) . the svx is indeed a hoe magnet, now if i could figure out a way to make it attract tasteful women that are atleast 21 i would be set. untill then im getting by on charm and massive pecs, yeah thats the ticket massive pecs.

Yes it does! We can talk via PM if you like. I don't want to contaminate this thread with XT6 junk.

Another 4.44 fuel economy report

Did about 40% highway and 60% city on this tank. Used 16.52 gals at fill-up and drove 389.8 miles.

389.8 miles/ 16.51 gal = 23.6 mpg
