check that: it's been closed and the area has been evacuated due to a level 3 volcano alert. hmmm...

by the way the "underground volcano" your referring to is located underneath yellowstone national park, not yosemite and yes it is predicted to blow anytime...there is a 70,000-160,000 year period between each "caldera" and time of eruption and so far its been 70,000 years since the last eruption and the ground has risen 28.5 inches since 1928 and is traveling NW kinda to montana

here is a map showing the location of each caldera along with the time period between each one and you can also see the direction they move in.
