What if you could stack 2 engines on top of each other? You'd have a sideways H-8...similar to the W8.

I think there used to be a H-24 in use in aircraft, basically two H-12 engines stacked on top of each other. If I remember right it made a good deal of power too... ;-)

Good idea. Tranny eliminated - who needs more than one BIG gear? Opps! - To change plugs, please remove fenders, dash & front seats.
