I have had the condition since childhood, although it became worse when I had double inner ear infections when I was in college. Any rapid change of direction can cause me to become very disoriented and nauseous. That, and poor eyesight, pretty much doomed my dream of being a fighter pilot.

Hmmm....You could be doomed as an autocrosser too, Don.

Sorry - Ron (doomed in general).

That thought has crossed my mind Ron. I guess it will take a ride with Harry, with a barf bag in my lap (NO hot dogs), for me to find out for sure.

No, knowing how nice Harry keeps the interior of his car....no, I couldn't do that.

On the plus side though, I don't have any problems taking our twisting roads around here at a good clip. I just don't know when my head will say "enough!"

Don

P.S. You may remember Ron, last fall at Winchester, when I begged off riding with Harry? I was having a sinus problem anyway, which didn't help my ears/balance, and knowing that I was looking at a long drive home, I figured that I had better not risk it. I didn't fully explain it too you at the time, but that was what I was thinking about.

I went on my first roller coaster in over 15 years last November. It was the Red Dragon of the Dueling Dragons at Universal: Orlando.

After getting off I had a hard time standing straight and was bouncing off of walls and people. I decided "hey, lets try the blue one now!". Fortunately that one seemed more tame.
you did ride the Hulk coaster while at Universal, right? the acceleration up the hill outta the tunnel is worth the price of admission!!!

No I didn't ride the Hulk. The acceleration out of tunnel would have been accompanied by the acceleration of my pizza out of a different tunnel!
