If they left a Acura in my driveway that they could have easily stole, maybe they'll throw away the server in the garbage.... |

My cell phone was in my car when they stole it. It's open and can receive call, is there a way to track it down or it's just possible in movie?

You may be on to something there.....maybe call the police and ask them if it is possible to trace a cell phone? I know mine brodcasts its location when connected to the network to aid in 911 dispach. If I were you, I would do it soonest, before your battery dies.

Our phone system sends our an identifier every 30 seconds. As crime is very low here and the Police are usually bored, with little to do, they have a very high success rate if mobile phones are involved. I know that other forces use this facility sparingly as they don't want the bad guys to know.
If the phone is still left on, they sound like they are not clued up on this technology. (Maybe that is why they are taking 10 year old cars)

The police call me back. Mascouche isn't a big town, the police doesn't have many technological device, so the they had to ask some help from the "Sureté du Québec" a kind of state police. They trace my phone, it's in Montreal, police agents are on there way to the location of the cell phone...
My cell phone was in my glove box in vibration mode, maybe they didn't look in there.... Bruno hoping those punks will get caught.... |
