Re: fuel light
This just happened to me the other day! My main fuel gauge has NEVER worked for the 10 years I've owned the car, but I've always been able to rely on the low fuel warning light to be 100% accurate.
Never been able to get a solid answer here as to how to address the fuel gauge problem and it seems like half of us have faulty ones. But the warning light seems to be consistently reliable and this is the first thread I've seen about it. Then it happens to me, full tank of gas, warning light still on! Maybe I'll see what happens in 2 or 3 fill ups first. I wouldn't know where to begin with pulling out sensors, much less testing them with gas and electricity!
