jacks and jackstands

to start off let me say great site!

in keeping with scheduled maintainance. i've had problems jacking up the SVX. i don't want to use the spare tire jack cause it is a p.o.s. i've had problems with floor jacks not being low enough or not lifting the car high enough or the handles being too long or short making it a pain jack the thing up!

so my question is does anyone have a brand/model of jack and jackstands that work well? do ramps work better? what do you use to lift and work under your SVX? PLEASE let me know.

along the same lines does the SVX need to be on 2 or 4 jackstands when changing the oil or tranny fluid? does it need to be leaned to the drivers side when changing the tranny fluid (the drain plug is on that side) to get all the fluid out. i've had problems with the tranny not draining all the way.

i'm a fairly new SVX maintainer and would appreciate any tips!!
