Re: SVX parts... a ton!

Got a glove-box closing mechanism? The part that's attached to the door. Not sure if the handle's attached to it, but if so, I need a grey one. (of if my handle can be transferred, then beige will work too. Mine doesn't close without slamming, and I have a feeling it's on the way to not staying closed at all. I don't really care about it not taking my key, since it's unlikely i'll ever need to lock it. Thanks.

I have an ebony hood and I'm about 2.5 hours north of Chicago unless you're looking for a specific color. Just figure shipping won't be cheap.

Sorry Tom, not trying to steal business, just figure a few gallons of gas is cheaper than shipping costs

Re: SVX parts... a ton!

Do you happen to have the switch bank for the drivers door of a 92 LSL?
Hoping thats the problem, window will go down with the switch but have to take the door apart & fumble with the switches to get it to go back up. Ever heard of this? Window motor seems fine

Have you tried making sure that the motor is getting power when the switch is in both positions?? A simple voltmeter at the motor connector will tell you it is getting +12v or -12v depending on the position

Re: SVX parts... a ton!

Tom,

Do you have the trio of critical sensors that I could "borrow"...crank, cam, and cam? Want to check that they're the issue before ordering new ones. I can actually send them back to you afterwards cuz I plan to buy new ones if they address my stalling issue...really just want to make sure they're the issue before dropping large sums of money. I'll pay you some usage fee plus whatever overnight shipping and return shipping costs.

Thanks.

Mat
