Hi, My name is Ken and I bought my '95 SVX L (awd) with almost 86k mi on it back in April. Been a lurker for quite a while and recently joined. I've dropped in a Fram Air-Hog filter (yeah, it's not a K&N, but Kragen was out of em and I didn't want to wait) and had the stock stereo swapped out for an Alpine CDA-9847 deck. I've just placed an order for the Smallcar shift kit and am planning on getting the Flex-a-lite Transmission Cooler from Summit Racing (FLX-4126) after having checked the forums. Problem is, I have no tools and am incompetent with mechanics! Soooooooo... if anyone located in the Bay Area, Cali wants to help in any way, I would be so grateful!

Hello everyone, I'm Nate. I've lurked for quite some time, joined sometime in March, just recently started posting. I've made a few other posts in other sections but thought I'd do the check in. I bought a Laguna Blue 94 LSi in January. I love it, however I've dumped thousands into since then. Everything looked ok but 5 days after the purchase, I got my bath in SVX tranny problems. Next was the rear wheel bearing, after that was all new gears in the front differential and a used rear differential going in, this was due to someone hitting me while my car was parked and I was in the house sleeping. The drivers side window switch broke, my A/C compressor just took a dive and I've been dealing with that. There are some other minor issues too....I think I'm almost out of lubricated parts that could have possibly needed replacings.... all this said, for some reason, I still love this car. I'll be a little more careful with the next one, but I think I'll have another. As for mods, Green filter, Lexus IS 300 Sport Design 11 spoke 17 inch wheels, aftermarket resonator with Magnaflow single inlet dual outlet muffler with Porsche Cayenne tips (they look awesome). I've added XM radio and my old system, which is in storage, will soon be going in the beast. Look forward to many posts in the future...

They are a great car even though they have some problems here and there.

Just wanted to say Hi to Nate. First member I see close to Gainesville, Florida. I bought a '94 LSi in January also, Polo Green. So far so good, some oil leaks coming from the engine. Yankee car with a lot of corrosion on the cast aluminum engine parts.

Hey Nate, did somebody ask you to post a pic of your car? I'm really curious as to how the Lexus wheels look?

Nope, nobody has asked yet. I'll take some tomorrow and get them up. The only downside to them right now is that they still have the Lexus center caps. I'm having a tough time locating some that will look good with the wheels. Oh, and they need some more rubber on them. 215/45/17 is a little skinny. As soon as I need new tires, I'm going with 235/45/17 or 225/50/17... haven't figured out which one yet. I'll take pics of the wheels and exhaust tomorrow and post em up.

Are your center caps worn or broken. If they are worn like all of them usually are when you buy a car, you can repaint them so they look good again. If you need any help, there is a how to on it and I have done some and can give you a couuple of pointers.

I'm not having trouble with my SVX center caps. Sorry if I was a little vague in the message but, I need center caps to fit a Lexus Sport Design IS300 wheel. I'm looking for solid color or ones with smooth surface so I can attach a Subaru logo. The L in the middle of the Lexus cap is raised, otherwise I would just paint them. So, if anyone knows where to get Subaru logo'd or plain color center caps to fit OEM Lexus wheels, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..

Hi, i'm Dustin. I live in San Antonio, TX. I started lurking on the yahoo site I think before these forums were started. I finally registered in august of '04 (2 days before I went to buy my '92). I think im the youngest member with more than one SVX. I have my '92 Ebony LS-L (soon to be heavily modified) and my '95 Brilliant Red L/AWD (the girlfriend says its hers). I eventually will have more, but have run into a financial low, so it'll be awhile. Always will have atleast one though.
