"92 svx obd1

does anyone know and can tell me how to diagnose a check engine on my "92, I will be bringing her home this week and I need to get this engine light off before I try to smog her. Also is there a way to check to see if my car is all wheel drive by the VIN number?

They didn't make a FWD version in 1992, so safe to say that your's is AWD.

Also, this online VIN decoder says AWD as well (although I don't know how good it is):
