I might not own my new svx.......
Went to the dealership this morning for the 12th straight monday to pick up my plates....... All the cars were gone and the lights were out... a little yellow sticker in the window from the State Tax Commission.. saying that this company could no longer sell cars....... Went to the Tax Commission to find out what happened.... Making a very long (and possibly sad) story short... The Dealership may have not paid the original owner of the car.... In which case... I'm out one svx.....
AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGG!!!!!! Mitch.... Not ...... Happy !!!!

Ewwww....that hurts! You want I should muss someone up for ya?
Does that mean your "almost yours" SVX will be sitting in a state auction one day soon??? 3 months is a long time to be pining for a car only to have it yanked out from under you. Grrrr...

Mitch, can you just buy the car straight from the owner then? In theory, the car is still the owners since the dealer did not pay him yet?

I hope so
That's what the Bank and I talked about yesterday. We will wait until the Tax Commission is done with their investigation.... In the mean time.. I have a bill of sale ... The car in my garage... and the bank with most of the money and on my side....
I should be ok... It'll just be a little longer before I get the money set aside for the inevitalbe tranny rebuild... (it's fine right now.. but I'm sure it's the original)

You can lift it up to see if you still have the original tranny or a remaned tranny.
